Jeremiah 9:23-24

(New King James Version)

23 Thus says the LORD:
“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;

24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the LORD.

Football Weekend Results

As Predicted it was a good weekend of football. Three for Three in picks. *Albeit Barely*

Fight Irish have some luck on their side. In a game they should have lost they pulled out a remarkable win. They scored with 62 seconds left to pull out the 20-17 win. Sometimes things go your way and other times they go against you.

BC Eagles took it to Florida St. for three quarters, and then held on for the win. BC seems to be playing close to the fire and was lucky this time not to get burned. Florida ST had a chance to win it at the end but came up short. NC State had the same chance, although more of a reach, yet they pulled it out and gave BC it’s only blemish. BC needs to play the full 4 quarters and finish the games.New England dominated Buffalo 28-6.

Buffalo just looked LOST all game. Buffalo is a young team and if they are coached right and learn to play as a team in years to come they will be a team to be reckoned with.

Some of our Key players got hurt and hopefully none of them to serious.

Football Weekend

It is going to be a good weekend of football.

Saturday:

First on the list is UCLA Bruins 4-2 (2-2), 4th Pacific-10
 Vs.
(10) Notre Dame Fighting Irish 5-1 (0-0) Independents (I-A)

96% of College Pick’em users predict Notre Dame will win the game.

If they ND play like they can, it will be a blow-out; But ND hasn’t done that consistently so it will probably be a close game.

Then on Tap is (22) Boston College Eagles 5-1 (2-1), 2nd Atlantic Coast – Atlantic
 vs.
Florida St. Seminoles 4-2 (2-2), 5th Atlantic Coast – Atlantic

52%of College Pick’em users predict Florida St. will win the game.

I think if Matt Ryan Starts at QB for BC we should win; if he doesn’t it will make the game that much closer, but we should still win.
Last year we lost to them, but we where so close. They just had the big plays and we didn’t. This year should be different.

Sunday:

New England (4-1) at Buffalo (2-4) @ 1300

91% of Pro Pick’em users predict New England will win the game.

This is the second meeting this year between them. We won last time 19-17. This time we should take them out by a lot more. NE passing game is coming around which will help a lot more then it did in week one.

Still Alive

I just have not had much to type about, not that I ever did to begin with.

Guess it is my Anti-social way.

I have not spent much time on the net in the last year. Between getting married and getting VERY addicted to Star Wars: Galaxies (before Sony stuck there BEEP BEEEP BEEEP) and then suffering through World of Warcraft (Which I quit a month ago).
Still looking to play Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising and/or The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar (Both are new Massively multiplayer online game in Development) when they get released. But that will come down to how things work out in Korea. I am getting re-assigned there next spring and will have to see how much play time I would have.

It would be a tough choice between the two…

Rome Rising is “squad based” where you control minions who fight along side you. Making more challenging and just totally different then the other MMOG’s

Shadows of Angmar: is set during The Fellowship of the Ring after Frodo and company leave The Shire. Players will be able to meet the characters from Tolkien’s story, including some of the Fellowship. The four playable races will be Dwarves, Elves, Hobbits, and Men. LotRO is explicitly based on the books, not Peter Jackson’s cinematic adaptation.

Which makes me want to play this because one of the things I LOVED about SWG over WOW is that I knew the place, got to visit places/people/events I saw in the movies and I think this will have the same appeal…
I guess it will come down to which is released first.
Well, till next time… Let the Force Guide you!!
